In-N-Out to open Centerville location as Layton, Riverdale show interest

The talk surrounding sites for new In-N-Out Burger locations has hit warp speed as the popular California hamburger chain is finishing construction of one restaurant in Centerville and seeking site plan approval to open another in Riverdale. Layton officials continue to work behind-the-scenes to bring an In-N-Out location to their city.

"We hope to open our Centerville restaurant in mid-to-late October and should be able to set a firm date toward the end of next week or early the following week," said Carl Van Fleet, vice president of planning and development for In-N-Out Burger. "As far as Layton and Riverdale are concerned, we are still in the early stages on both of those projects," Van Fleet said. "We are hopeful that we will be able to open restaurants in both cities but a great deal still has to happen first." But local officials are optimistic that things are coming together.
