The Professional Outdoor Media Association announced Tuesday that it will bring its annual business conference to Ogden Aug. 10-13, 2011, at the Ogden Marriott hotel downtown. It will be the first time a Western city has hosted the conference.
Approximately 185 newspaper and magazine journalists, as well as freelance writers, are expected to attend. Aside from the actual conference, they will have chances to experience the fishing, biking, hiking and other outdoor recreation opportunities the surrounding area offers. Ogden Standard-Examiner
