Antelope Causeway getting attention

A contract should be awarded next month to repave and upgrade the county-owned road, said County Public Works Director Kirk Schmalz. Engineering work done several years ago divided the eight-mile causeway into eight sections, with judgments made on where the waves typically would be the highest and most damaging.
