Layton retirement village to create jobs, offer options to seniors

Legacy Village of Layton, a new retirement community located at 1205 North Fairfield Road covers seven acres and has 246 units. The building is split into three sections -- retirement living apartments, assisted-living apartments and transitional rehabilitation private rooms -- with each of the sections having its own entrance. The retirement community will likely bring 200 jobs to Layton, but some nearby residents worry about an increase in traffic on Fairfield. Ogden Standard-Examiner
