Morgan County OKs bonds for building

The Morgan County Council took its final step in authorizing $600,000 in lease revenue bonds to finance construction of a new building to house public safety rooms and an animal shelter. The new building will be built on county land near the rifle range. Through the Build America Bonds program, interest payments on the bonds are eligible for a 35 percent rebate, lowering the original 4.5 percent interest rate to 2.9 percent. Ogden Standard-Examiner
