Farmington Apartment project gets approval from city again

Procedural delays in securing financing from a Housing and Urban Development program have caused at least one more temporary hurdle for a 324-unit apartment complex project in Farmington. The city council reapproved final plat plans for the Park Lane Commons project at approximately 500 North and 1000 West at a recent meeting, after the council's approval in 2010 had expired. Willmore Development officials say they hope to close on the project by the end of May or early June. Groundbreaking will follow the next day. Standard-Examiner
