New restaurant coming to Layton

Happy Hashi, a new Japanese steakhouse, is scheduled to open near Layton Hills Mall this summer. The owners have submitted building plans to the city, and the restaurant will fill the vacant building that once housed Second National Bank at 630 W. North Ring Road, just north of the mall.
