ATK gets $50 million contract for ammunition

Clearfield-based ATK Armament Systems has received an order for more than $50 million worth of ammunition for various military forces. The order is the second part of a contract ATK signed in 2008 with the U.S. Army Contracting Command for target ammunition, target practice tracers and armor-piercing, high-explosive incendiary ammunition. They will be produced at company facilities in Independence, Mo. The Salt Lake Tribune
