Bountiful awards engineering contract for power plant project
A Midvale company has been hired to provide engineering services for a power generation project in Bountiful, for a cost not to exceed $1.686 million. The city council voted unanimously to hire ICPE Inc. to oversee plans to install two new turbines at the city's power generation plant on 200 West. The engineering firm is expected to oversee construction of a $22-million-to-$25-million project. The firm will also play a role in the redesign of a building to house the new turbines, according to Allen Johnson, director of Bountiful City Light & Power. Standard-Examiner
