Davis County OKs Minger for culvert project
Davis County officials have chosen Minger Construction Inc. to work on what is being referred to as the North Holmes Creek culvert improvement. The flood-control project will move runoff water from the east side of Interstate 15 to the west side and into the Great Salt Lake by boring beneath the road. Minger Construction put in the lowest bid -- $700,786.15 -- of the six construction companies that showed interest in the project. The work will be funded by a $27 million revenue bond approved by the commission in 2009 for flood-control work. Ogden Standard-Examiner
