Layton Hills Mall recently said hello to a new store and is about to say goodbye to a longtime tenant. In the next few months the mall will gain two more stores while undergoing renovations inside and out.
The most obvious coming addition is the new Dick's Sporting Goods store which should be open by the end of October. With the addition of the new sporting goods store, Sports Authority will leave the mall in August. Sports Authority is opening a store in the Station Park development in Farmington.
The mall also recently welcomed Lily Pads & Lullabies, a shop specializing in baby clothes, strollers and accessories. And Vans, a shoe store, is under construction and should be open in July. One existing store, Vanity, recently underwent a facelift, while another, J.C. Penney, will soon get a new look as well. Ogden Standard-Examiner
